Without proper care and storage stains will set and your gown will eventually yellow as it ages.  Carolyn Allen's is proud to offer gown cleaning and preservation services by Wedding Gown Preservation Co., one of the most respected names in the industry since 1913.  This process includes the thorough cleaning of your gown, as well as preservation and display in a viewing box, and shipping back to your home. Other mementos of your important day, such as your headpiece, veil, garter, or an invitation, may be included as well.

You may order and pay for your cleaning or preservation online by using our secure order form. If you are not comfortable sending your credit card information over the Internet, you may submit the form online and call us with your payment information. You may also complete the form, print a copy, and mail or fax it to us.

  • This service takes approximately 6-12 weeks, though it may be slightly longer during busy season

We are sorry, but the packaging such as garment bags and hangers cannot be returned with your cleaning or preservation.

Restoration

We offer an optional restoration service for gowns that are 20+ years old. This service is available with all cleaning and preservation packages for an additional fee.

Do you need more insurance?

Additional insurance is available at a cost of $20 per $1,000 insured value. Enter the amount of additional insurance you would like to purchase in increments of 1,000 whole dollars (no cents): $

Example: Your gown is worth $2,000, and you have selected a package that only includes $1,000 worth of insurance. You would need to enter "1000" to purchase an additional $1,000 worth of insurance, for a total insured value of $2,000. If you enter "2000", you will be purchasing $2,000 worth of additional insurance and insuring your gown for $3,000.

Headpieces with one unattached veil (on a comb, for example) are considered as one item for billing purposes. More than one separate veil will be considered an additional item. If you have one extra veil, please check the 'Extra Veil' box (below). If more than one extra veil, you may list each one the spaces below marked "other" (please be sure to check the box AND enter 'veil' in the space provided.

* Large items may incur an additional fee. Once we receive and inspect your items, we will contact you if this is the case and let you know the additional cost.
